MAGNÉSIOPAN® sustainable construction panel, known as magnesium oxide board. Doesn't burn, and doesn't make any smoke, it is water resistant, harmless and 100% free of asbestos and radiation elements. The board material is processed through an anti-static treatment where fiberglass glass is added to increase the board stability. One side of the board is smooth and the other one is rough for ceramic tiles applying. It has high collision and impact hardness, has no reaction to UV rays and is resistant against halogens.
MAGNÉSIOPAN® magnesium board has many applications in construction. It is a superior solution to ETICS (External thermic insulation composit systems) due to its thermal, acoustic and durability characteristics.
MAGNÉSIOPAN® panels are light and easy to install, cut, mold with common tools, making them ideal for floor, walls, ceiling, soffits, external claddings, skirtings, and other architectural structures that require high mechanical resistance. Magnésiopan panels can also be used in interiors where humidity or water is present instead of plasterboard, which in these cases is inappropriate. The Magnesium Oxide Board was tested under European Standard BS EN 12467 -2012, for over 4 hours on a 10mm board
The board is fire-resistant to 1472 ° C and remains without flame at 2192 ° C.
Resistant to deformation in hot, dry and humid conditions with a deformation rate of 0.26%
Can be used at - 40°C.
The magnesium oxide board remains intact after being immersed in water for one month, the phenomenon of swelling and alteration of its shape has not occurred.
It does not disintegrate when immersed in water or exposed to freezing for a long period of time.
